We were given a little wild strawberry plant about a year and a half ago by my brother-in-law. In her (she’s a girl, her name is Fraoulitsa) first spring in the city she did not show any major signs of development. We thought she was unhappy and that her chances of blossoming would be the same as the chances of a wild bird singing in a cage. We later brought in Mo the spearmint, so Fraoulitsa would have some company (and we could make some Mojitos).
This spring something changed. For reasons still unknown to us , she started having babies. This is her first one.
